SUMMARY

Join us for a one night tour of Italy.

Learn about the classic Italian wines and regions, and food and wine matching, in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.


LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE

We assume a very basic level of experience with wine.

The evening is entertaining and relaxed, but with plenty of information.


EVENT DESCRIPTION

On arrival you will be handed a glass of wine and given the chance to sample some Italian cheeses and antipasto. 

Then be led through approx 12 Italian wines, along with canapés matched to each flight of wine.


Wines to be tasted include:
  • Barbera
  • Chianti
  • Moscato
  • Montepulciano
  • Nebbiolo
  • Primitivo
  • Prosecco
  • Sangiovese
  • Soave


Interaction is encouraged and there are always plenty of laughs and mmm's and ahhh's as you taste your way around Italy from the comfort of your wine glass.


FOOD

Cheese boards, antipasto and some classic food and wine pairings will be provided, however we do recommend a light meal or snack before the tasting to ensure a clear head throughout the event.

This event will be held at Sydney Wine Centre's private tasting room at 119 Harris Street, Pyrmont, 2009
